MY VOYAGE INTO NAGALOKA

THE VERY BEGINNING

In my earlier days, when I was studying 7th standard I used to sleep on a cot in my room. During night time whenever I turned off the light and closed my eyes I used to have a strange feeling of a ‘Serpent’ raising its hood and standing near my feet. I used to become very afraid and immediately I would get up and switch on the light. When I switch on the light nothing will be there on the cot. But when I turn off the light and lie down again, I will get the same feeling of ‘Serpent’ standing near my feet with its hood raised. So I used to have so many sleepless nights. After a few days I started sleeping with my family and this strange feeling got stopped somehow.

In my home in adambakkam, there was lot of open space. One day when me and my dad were working in the garden, we noticed a small hole in the size of a carrom board coin. So my dad put a 4 feet crow bar inside the hole to measure its depth. To our surprise half of the crow bar went down in the hole. If rats create their dens, they usually pile the mud on the top like a mountain. But this hole looked very different with no extra mud around the hole. So my dad got anxious and put many small stones in the hole and filled the hole completely. But to our dismay many similar holes appeared in the open ground. So me and dad had to spend a few minutes everyday to close all the holes. This happening continued for some time and we got used to it.

In our home there was a small ‘motor room’ where many holes like this appeared. We used to put egg and milk in a cup and waited for the Serpents to come and drink it. But nothing happened. So my dad got very afraid and arranged for mason and he filled the entire motor room floor with cement.

Eventhough we filled the floor of the motor room, during night time whenever I went near the ‘well’ to do some work, I clearly used to hear the Hissing sound. Initially I was very afraid when I heard this Hissing sound. But afterwards I got used to it. So whenever I had to go near the well, I used to whistle in a soft note so that the Serpent won’t get surprised and it won’t Hiss. If I go abruptly without making any noise, then the Hissing sound will come. After some time we got used to it. It is not going to do any harm to us. We understood this clearly.

Once, my dad invited a spirit healer. She was a woman who came to analyse what was going on in our home. She entered our house and she was talking to us in a normal manner outside our home near a guava tree. Suddenly she said that she was feeling a pricking feeling all over her body. Suddenly she fell down on the floor and writhed like a serpent. When we asked her what was the name of that angel from Nagalogam, the medium replied that she was living in our premises for a very very long time and said she won’t do any harm to us and to our pets. Also, she promised that she will never be visible to our eyes to frighten us. So we prayed to her and she made her exit from the medium.

One morning at about 7 am, I was having my coffee at the backyard of my home near the coconut tree. Suddenly I saw a 1 feet long black Serpent moving fastly from here and there. I looked at it and immediately called my father to look at it. But the moment he came, it disappeared out of sight. We searched for it everywhere but we couldn’t find it. After a few years during rainy season our whole plot was filled with rain water. So, in order to drain the rain water I was walking in the water in the front side of our home. Suddenly I saw 2 Serpents each about a foot long playing in the rain water. And I could see them playing and enjoying in the water. I said bye and left the place. After this incident I never saw them again.

From my childhood days my dad was trying to protect me from Nagaloka without knowing. Whenever there come small holes, immediately my dad proceeded to cover it with stones and mud. If plants have grown too thick, immediately he would clear the bushes since he thought that serpents would be lurking inside the bushes. I was wondering why my dad was so much afraid of snakes. But I am not afraid of them. But very late only I came to know that all these serpents came to my house only to get dharshan of me and live closer to me in proximity. I am somehow related to their logam. This became very clear for me now.

 

MY DEEPER EXPERIENCES IN NAGALOGAM

My connect with Nagalogam took a silent mode when I learned Simplified Kundalini Yoga from my guru and started practising it in a very sincere way for almost 15 years. I lived like a perfect Yogi in that period. Only the name of LORD SHIVA can impress me. I never even turned to look at Ambal Sannadhis during that period.

Then slowly I turned towards Bakthi path. Every week I used to visit Sri Kamatchi Amman temple at Kancheepuram. My whole focus shifted towards Kamatchi Ambal and other Shakthi Peetams.

One day, after many years I heard a soft shrill voice, almost like a person whistling at a low-key tone. But at the same time, I could easily see the vision of a huge Serpent making this strange sound using its split tongue. Everyday I used to see her and hear her shrill sound. Also, somehow she transferred her feeling to me that she wants to come inside our home, particularly in Puja room where I used to do abishekam and worship to Aathmalingam, Azhagaambigai, Vinayagar, Anjaneya, Pithru lingam, Narmadhai Shivalingam and Navagraha Silaigal. So finally, I invited her to enter our home and she entered. Then, after that I could always sense this huge Serpent creeping on all the Silamurthams.

Meanwhile my close sishya Babu was married and childless for almost 7 years. I asked his wife Mala to meditate in our puja room. She used to sit in deep trance for long time. Every day in our puja room her face looked like a real Nagini in human form. Meanwhile doctors advised Babu to better adopt a child since there was very little chance of her getting pregnant. But to our glee she got conceived and gave birth to one Male child.

Now their son is studying in 7th standard. We all know very well that the Nagini’s Blessings only made this possible. Also we can easily say that the being from Nagalogam has taken human form in the presence of Saint Sundar.

I and my sishyas used to visit Ooragathaan perumal temple in Kancheepuram which is a very famous temple in Kancheepuram. Usually, we visit the temple in the evening. After getting dharshan from the deity we used to visit the inner pragaram where no one goes since the corridor is very dark with no illumination. All of us used to sit in the dark and meditate. We all felt small Serpents crawling all over our body. But with ‘me’ around, my sishyas were very brave and unafraid of the Serpents. We used to sit there for almost half an hour. During that entire time these Serpents used to play all over us. Thousands of devotees visit this temple. But nobody knows about these strange experiences.

Once in Tanjore Narayana Theerthar samadhi, me and my sishyas were constructing pavement to walk outside the temple, where the floor was covered only with river sand at about 9 pm. I was taking a walk on the backside of the temple since at the front the construction was going on. It was very dark at the back side. I was going alone. Suddenly, I felt a serpent swiftly moving out of my path in the darkness. It was anxious to move out of my path. It never wanted to hurt me even by mistake. Also, all these things were communicated between me and the serpent in a fraction of second without any of us uttering even a single word. This noble act of the serpent very much moved me.

THE PLACES WHERE I ENCOUNTERED NAGALOGAM

GURULINGA SWAMIGAL JEEVA SAMADHI

Gurulinga Swamigal jeeva samadhi is the vital place where I regularly enter the Nagalogam. The huge Adhisheshan covers the entire temple with its head or hood standing near the Gopuram Kalasam. It is my regular meeting point with Nagalogam. This portal is not available to everyone. This portal opens only if the Nagalogam wants to express itself to the devotees.

Many great saints were connected with Nagalogam.

TOTAPURI MAHARAJ ASHRAM (PURI)

The samadhi temple of this great saint Totapuri Maharaj is also the converging point for the Nagalogam. I have encountered the Nagalogam there. A very huge form of Adhishesha exists there in a very subtle way.

SRI NARAYANA THEERTHAR JEEVA SAMADHI

This great saint’s jeeva samadhi is situated in Thirupoonthuruthi village near Tanjore. For almost 25 years I am visiting this place regularly. Here also, many times I ran in to the world of Nagalogam.

THIRUPALAIVANAM

The name of this ancient shiva temple is Thirupaaleeshwarar. This is the place where Vasuki, the brother of Adhisheshan worshipped shiva and achieved moksha. Many holy beings from Nagalogam live here. I encountered a few of them. These holy beings came to me and lived with me for some time.

ANCIENT TEMPLE NEAR PAZHAVERKADU

This ancient temple is situated very near to the seashore. Here, the overlapping of both the lokas takes place. Nobody knows about these mysterious things. I came to know all these things because, the Nagalogam opened up its world for me here in full scale.

MANNARSALA TEMPLE IN KERALA

This holy temple is fully inhabited by Nagalogam. Even the old priest living there  is fully possessed with beings from Nagalogam. The samadhis of five serpents which were born in a human womb also is situated there.

PATANJALI RISHI'S SAMADHI

This ancient rishi’s samadhi is situated inside the temple of Rameshwaram. The great Adhisheshan who has taken the human form as Sri Patanjali rishi, still exist there in a cosmic form. Those who are spiritually developed in a very high level can get the dharshan of this great Nagalogam.

Gyanganj also has connection with the Nagalogam. I came to know about this whenever I got the chance to encounter the strange world of Gyanganj.

EXPERIENCES AT TEMPLES

Nagakanni Amman Temple

In North Chennai, near MKB nagar, 15th east cross street one small Nagakanni Amman temple is situated in the pavement. It is very near to my elder sister’s home. Few years ago, when I went to my elder sister’s house, I saw the small temple which was about 20 feet away from me. I just gave it a glance and started moving towards my sister’s house. But suddenly, the smell of pure turmeric powder hit me very hard in my nostrils and a message came with it. The message was that I am invited to visit the temple. So I promised it in my mind that I will definitely visit the temple today. So I went to my sister’s house, stayed there for a few hours and then I along with my uncle and sister’s daughter went to the temple. We offered our prayers and then I offered to paint the small gopuram in Gold paint which I did in one-month time. She is a very powerful Serpent God. I have attached a few photos of the temple and the deity here. After this incident, I have visited this small temple many times.

Nagavalli Amman Kovil

This small temple is situated in the bus stand of Parry’s Corner near Kandhaswamy Murugar temple. This temple according to the priest is 75 years old. The temple’s passage is built on top of two wells. This temple is situated in the main road.

Once, I was walking across the bus stand and looked at the temple and I kept walking since I had planned to visit Kandhaswamy temple. But suddenly, the sweet perfume of Thaambulam in a very thick odour hit my nostrils. The message was very clear and direct. “You are crossing my temple without even visiting and noticing me.” So I promised her that I will come back to her in the future.

Then the next week evening I went there with my sishyas and daughter at about 7pm on Sunday and spent 2 hours there meditating and praying. She was satisfied with my visit and offer of prayer and meditation. 

Nagakanni Amman Kovil inside the OTA campus

This temple is situated inside the military training camp. We civilians are not allowed inside. So no one can go there. I learned about this temple and I wanted to give it a visit. I somehow got permission and went with my friends. It was in my earlier days of meditation. So I was very afraid to close my eyes. When I sat near the Puthu Kovil, I was looking here and there to see if anything is creeping out. But in spite of all my fear, the temple was very silent and serene. I visited this temple only once.

Nagakanni Amman Kovil at Tirusulam

This temple is situated very near to the Airport near the PVR Mall. Some 35 years ago, my father heard about this temple and visited this temple within a week. He went inside the temple and was praying. Suddenly, he heard a hissing sound and when he looked up, he saw the Serpent sticking out its head and raising its hood from the mound. My father was shell shocked and remained speechless for some time. He felt as if it was an acknowledgement from the Serpent Goddess that all his prayers will be answered. My dad narrated this story in a very emotional way to me. So I also visited this temple many times. But I didn’t have the lady luck to get the dharshan of the serpent goddess. I have never seen such a huge Paambu putru (snake pit) in my life. It was almost 10 feet in height and 20 feet in breadth.

Sabtha Kanni Matha Kovil

This temple is an ancient one. It is situated near the foothills of Thiruthani Lord Subhramanya Swami temple. Some 14 years ago, I visited this temple for the first time with my sishyas and family. Actually, my initial plan was to visit Thiruthani Subhramanya Swami temple. But suddenly, visit to this temple came up in my mind. It was about 6 pm in the evening when we entered the temple. It was a winter time. So darkness creeped up very fast. When we entered the temple, the gate was open. But to our astonishment not even a single soul was there inside the temple premises. The temple was very small, but the area of the temple was very vast. It could be around one acre of hilly area. One huge banyan tree was covering the entire temple. There was also one small pond. We also saw bushy shrubs of Thazhampoo plants. (It is a general belief that wherever the plants of Thazhampoo are, Serpents will be there definitely. Serpents are always attracted by the sweet and concentrated fragrance of thazhampoo). So, when we entered inside the temple premises, it had become fully dark with zero visibility and with no possible sight of human beings. Even my sishyas were a little bit afraid. So, with the help of our car’s powerful head light, we found our way and went near the temple. The temple’s inner pragaram’s grill gate was locked, but through the grill ,we were able to see the Sabtha Kanni Mathas. Only a small oil lamp was burning inside the moolasthanam. We prayed to the goddesses for some time. And after that we sat on a platform under the banyan tree. As soon as we closed our eyes to do meditation, I could feel the sensation of so many serpents creeping on the branches of the tree and looking at us. There were monkeys also watching us from the treetop. And even I was a bit afraid to sit under the tree because the thought of serpents falling down from the tree kept coming in my mind. But still, I continued my meditation. Then I heard the silent footsteps of some astral beings coming out from the pond after taking bath with water dripping. It made me even more afraid. But despite the fear syndrome, I continued my meditation and prayed to the naginis. I asked them one question. Who will come as a wife for my disciple Rajendran? They answered that the girl’s name will be Parvathy. We sat in meditation for half an hour and then we came out of the temple. My sishyas were very relieved to come out of the temple premises. Afterwards, my sishyas told me that only because of me they were sitting inside the temple, otherwise they wouldn’t have entered the temple. But during the whole incident, two or three Bhairavas (dogs) stayed with us closely to give protection to us. We came to know only later that even the local residents won’t enter the temple after 6 pm. Even the priest will leave the temple at 6 pm out of fear. But we stayed there up to 8 pm.

PS: My sishya Rajendran got married and his wife’s name is Ambika (Parvathy’s another name).

After this first trip, many times I have visited this temple. But mostly I preferred to visit this temple after 6pm so that no one will be there to disturb our meditation. Only once I visited this temple in a broad day light with my sishyas. My prime disciple (Babu) found freshly peeled skin of a serpent underneath the banyan tree. He took it out for me and we are still worshipping it in our pooja room.

When Great Avatars take birth in human form to help mankind, they come with whole crowd of Beings from various Lokas. These beings come just to be with the Saint and if possible they get human form and achieve Moksha with the help of the Saint.

So, I am always surrounded by so many beings from other Lokas.

TO BE IN THE PRESENCE OF GREAT SAINTS IS LIKE LIVING IN A PARADISE.

I may not be popular with human kind. But I am well known and respected by these beings from other Lokas.

Some inmates of Nagalogam entered into my body without my knowing and they lived in my body for a long time. One such inmate who happened to be my son in Nagalogam, lived in one part of my body for more than 20 years. Very recently only I found out that he was my son in Nagalogam and he is living with me for so many years without getting noticed even by me also. 

The Nagini Angel who lived inside me

She came from Nagalogam and while I was deeply meditating in one ancient Shiva temple, she entered into me without my knowing. But after a few days I started sensing slow and ripple like movements in my stomach region. But I ignored the symptoms. But everyday the movements started coming at regular intervals. Even when I put my hand on the stomach, I could feel the movements. It was very strange. We all know that for gents we won’t be feeling any movements. It is almost a dead region only. It persisted for one month. After one month, me and Guru maa went to Kaaligaambal temple in Parry’s Corner. At the entrance of the temple guru maa was buying garland for Kaaligaambal devi. I was waiting for her. Suddenly I noticed the movements in my stomach. I was wondering how the movements are taking place in my belly. And I was caressing my belly. I thought I should find the reason for these movements. Guru maa came with garland and we entered the temple and reached the sanctum sanctorum of Kaali maa. It was Friday that day and so there was heavy crowd inside the sanctum sanctorum. So I had to stand a little far to get the darshan of Kaali maa. While looking at Kaali maa statue, I closed my eyes and asked her what was the reason behind the movements which was happening inside my belly? Immediately the answer came from Kaali maa. She told me that it is “Shubraathri”. Then we meditated for some time and returned home. Then I searched for Shubraathri in ancient scriptures. Her name is mentioned in Rig Veda. She lived in me for a few days. Then out of my compassion, I gave my Shubraathri to one of my sishyais so that Shubraathri can take a human form. But my sishyai to whom I gave my Shubraathri did not keep her well. So Shubraathri disappeared into the thin air. I am still feeling sorry for gifting away my Shubraathri out of ignorance (or) compassion.

PS: When Shubraathri was with me, the movements of her were very nice and enchanting.

KANISHTA

She came from Nagalogam on her own. She is a very old and matured lady. She came for me only. I saw her presence and thought that she wanted to stay with me. So I went on with my routine work and and forgot all about her. But she got worried and got attached to my Rib Cage and slowly I started experiencing pain in my rib cage. 

Then the pain got worse and I couldn’t do even my daily work. It felt like death for me. I suffered a lot and out of despair I closed my eyes in meditation and asked for the reason for this suffering. Then I felt the presence of a being and it narrated its story. Only then I came to know that it was my Kanishta only. So I prayed to her to stay permanently in one of my Shivlingam. I do puja to her once in a while and she is very happy now.
